“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. “Some of the best food I’ve had. Be it a cutlet, bento, or ramen bowl, this restaurant itches my need for Asian food. I will say there are days the broth feels off or the ingredients taste stale, but thankfully those are rare incidents. Will also add the service here is chill and hospitable, only had one incident where I got the wrong order. All around I love this place and take almost every chance to go there to eat when I visit the mall.“

“We usually just do take out from here, but the selection of slices each day is great to choose from as always something different in the case. The garlic knots are also pretty good.

You better be hungry when ordering the Italian Entrees as the portions are huge. We always have leftovers if we each order our own. We've wisened up and will select an entree to share. The sauce on the entrees is fresh and delicious.

They are great with catering and have used them for several events. They're helpful and responsive to your needs.

The staff has always been kind and courteous to us....even in the busiest of times (place was hoping at 5pm on Superbowl Sunday .... but they were still pleasant despite being run ragged with to-go and take-out orders).“

“We've now had Viva Vegan make at least half a dozen custom cakes for us over the last couple of years, and they've all been excellent! The head baker/owner Evangelina can handle any dietary constraints. One of our recent cakes had to be gluten free and also avoid a few other common ingredients, and the cake was still very fluffy and moist and delicious... a big hit among all of our guests! She uses organic and high quality ingredients as well, which no other bakery in town does that I know of.“

The service is generally good and the staff are friendly. “The place is clean with a friendly and nice atmosphere! My son and I had Oxtail Pho and Fried Calamari for dinner. It was quite delicious, and we did not have to wait long for the foods to be served. Excellent service! Good reasonable price for the quality of foods! The good nature and friendly chef also was outside at our table greeting us and brought out a good pot of hot tea to start. I had a chance of speaking Vietnamese with him! I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family here!“

“Their fresh baked pitta bread is unbeatable and made with traditional minimum ingredients and not full of modern day carcinogens which are being put in breads these days . Plenty of free parking and their shop is packed with middle eastern products. They are sell fresh meat from their counter at the back part of the store. Hardworking family business and often they are in the kitchen working on their bread making so don’t panic if you don’t see anyone serving . Very decent guy who serves in the shop and very friendly.“

“I had been wanting to try Cafe Gelato after hearing so many positive things, so we decided to go during Restaurant Week. I chose the Restaurant Week menu, while my husband ordered from the dinner specials. He was offered a soup or salad with his entrée, which we later realized came at an additional cost—something that wasn’t clearly explained upfront. He still enjoyed his meal overall.

The complimentary bread was delicious, but I found my meal to be somewhat underwhelming. The lobster chowder was quite bland, and I was expecting it to include noticeable pieces of lobster. The bacon sprinkled on top added some much-needed flavor.

The potato ravioli was a standout and very enjoyable. My main entrée—ricotta and lobster wrapped in homemade pasta—was decent, though again, the bacon was the highlight of the dish.

The menu gave the impression that dessert was included in the fixed price, and even our waitress acknowledged that the wording was misleading.

That said, the service was attentive, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. I’m glad I finally tried it, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations.“
