Great environment. Have been a regular here for over 6 years. Familiar family owned business that has community relationship ties, good service, exquisite food with and friendly clean atmosphere. So comfortable, they know my order by name. Great part to start my workday. The waffle hit different. 🤷♂
I am trying some new to me places in Philly and I came across this place. The Uptown Grill. The food was delicious, I ordered fish & grits, a small coffee, and white toast. The restaurant was very nice and clean, and the atmosphere was layed back, chill, But one thing that took me little by surprise and that is the (Asian lady) behind the counter taking orders. she wasn't really nasty, but she was impatient, short tempered and not very friendly or/ communicative and I felt...read full review
The staff is 10/10! Food is delicious and staff is crazy friendly. Would recommend.
