The best ice cream sodas and egg cream sodas. Also a lot of candy for the kids to pick from for after dinner.

This is the second time I have been here and both times were bad experiences for me. First time during Covid. They had a maximum number of people allowed inside. After we went in they told us to go back outside and wait till someone left to come back in. Then a family that had 3 more people than our party came by us, cut us off, and they let them in. I got so annoyed, I left.Today I gave them a second chance. We waited a while given the amount of people in the place. My ice cream soda was so bad, I didn’t drink it. I should have returned it for my money back. The young guy waiting on us was carrying a scoop of ice cream across the place dripping all over. He hands me a cup with whipped cream all over the cup and then it tasted terrible. It was tasteless and watery! To top it off my boyfriend vomited after finishing his.

Old school ice cream parlor with great burgers! The ice cream is delicious. Bought chocolates on the way out.
Super slow service. More than an hour to get 3 deserts?Place is rampant with loud and unattended / supervised kids.No peanuts in an IceCream Parlor/Diner to make a proper Hot Fudge Sundae eith nuts? Really?Apple pie tasted like a discount grocery story and awful texture. At least the cherry ice cream was good..Oh, well.. I guess it's another BadaBing!

My parents brought me here after school since I was a kid. I brought my family here and spent hundreds every years on Easter and Valentine’s Day candy but I’ve had enough and today is the last time I’ll go there. The horrible attitude towards customers who give their loyalty and money to this place is awful. Last time I’ll be yelled at by the guy behind the counter. I understand they’re busy this time of year but I arrived when I thought it would be slow-I was the only customer purchasing chocolate, patiently waited because I have a 40 year history spending my money there and the pathetic attitude from the man getting the chocolate, and it’s not the first time. Even the other customer who walked in as this was happening asked me “what’s his problem?” Last time. Plenty of other quality chocolate shops. What a disappointment.

So your got $82.6k to finance the renovations but your menu price increases are outrageous. Greed.

Every Easter for the past 40 years I look forward to the jelly beans. This is the first year I have been disappointed. The quality has has been greatly reduced. I spent $100 to give to family and friends and they are not the same. The quality is of cheap jelly yay a dollar stores. How
Cool atmosphere with an old school vibe. Food was fair to be honest. My bacon cheese burger was like a hockey puck and the bacon was so burnt it didn't even taste like bacon. The portions are small and the prices are way too high for what you get. Will not dine here again however I will come for ice

It's a walk back in time, I loved it. I had a great meaty and juicy turkey burger ? and the best homemade peanut butter filled chocolate candies that melted in my mouth, yummy. ?

Review is solely based on the ice cream. Rich, creamy and all the extra points for the big shards of chocolate !!

This place is an experience! We've been coming here as a family since the 1960s and now it's just tradition. Long before the Sopranos filmed here we were enjoying homemade ice cream, burgers, grilled cheeses, and turkey sandwiches. This is old-school, old vibes, but good food. The service has never been stellar but they do try. If you're in the neighborhood I highly recommend coming. Parking is on the street.
