Mario's is our go-to pizza place in Bloomfield. The sauce is delicious, the pizza crust is the perfect consistency (not crispy, not too doughy) and plenty of cheese. A dependable choice every time.
The workers behind the counter were polite and efficient. My pizza was warmed up, but I was not a fan of the cheese which had a rubbery texture, nor of the poor quality tomato sauce used. The crust was excellent though, crunchy, chewy, and a hint of salt. Even my cat enjoyed the crust. However, I would visit again based on the fact that it was a clean setting and the workers were smiling and nice. Visited at lunchtime on a weekday. $6.40 for two plain slices to go. Free parking...
Vegetarian options: Chicken/Veal parmigiana sandwiches are the best things to get here.
