A nice casual spot in Bloomfield. They make good breakfast sandwiches and their coffee is really good. I personally recommend their iced Colombian coffee.

After one of my girls raved about Minia’s in Montclair, thought I’d finally try the original nearby in Bloomfield. My breakfast sandwich of bacon, egg and cheese was good. I’d also ordered chicken and waffles for dinner later and was EXTREMELY disappointed at the size of the 5 wings dings. They looked like child size ones instead of regular ones (see pic of theirs on top and ones I bought from Foodtown below). I wouldn’t have an issue if the price was consistent with what I received yet for a meal over $15, I expect better. And when I called, they offered no service to resolve it.If your wing dings are that small then you need to provide more or update your menu to note SMALL wing dings.

Stop playing with me. I stopped by this unassuming little restaurant on a whim while waiting for my car at Hyundai. I had no idea I was about to have one if he best breakfasts I've eaten all year.SERVICE:Excellent service all around. Order at the front counter and they have a few seats inside. I dined in and had no complaints. FOOD:Woo. Alright, so I had Mangu. Had I ever had Mangu before today? No. But a quick google search confirmed that it's a traditional Dominican breakfast consisting of mashed plantains with pickled red onion, thick fried salami, eggs and a fried cheese. The presentation was like something you'd expect out of a 45-minute wait $30-a-plate brunch spot. It was gorgeous. And as good as it looked, I can tell you it tasted even better. I'm not a Mangu aficionado by any stretch, but I could find no faults with this meal. The salami was salty and crunchy, the cheese fried to a beautiful golden brown, eggs were over-medium as requested, and the mashed plantains stole the show - slightly chunky, hearty and filling with a perfect amount of acid from the red onion. Everything complimented everything. It was so good, I was compelled to sit here in the restaurant and write this review immediately after finishing. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and run - don't walk - to this little cafe. I only wish I had more of a reason to be in Bloomfield. Hey - maybe now I do.

To be such a small space the welcoming energy and amazing smells fill you up before you can even taste their homemade goodness. Everyone reading it should take steps through their doors you will not be disappointed.

Be careful eating here because they overcharge. Ask for a receipt. Was charged extra 6$ for an extra piece of turkey bacon a breakfast wrap. Mind, turkey bacon is cheaper than pork bacon but they hike up the price anyways. Makes no sense.

I happened to be visiting family on Mother's Day. I was looking for a fairly close restaurant to have breakfast and tried Minia's. It was excellent. Food was very fresh and they offered some healthy options as well. Love the smoothies and fresh squeezed orange juice. Would definitely recommend this place!

I've ordered from the Montclair location several times for pickup and their customer service is superb. But this day I decided to try the Bloomfield location because it was in the direction I was going. There is a young lady with braces at the front - who wasn't friendly at all and she spoke with another young lady at the front , spoke a few words in Spanish and proceeded to have an attitude . My first time at this location and it will be my last. Customer service is a huge thing for me. Hopefully these young ladies can get trained on customer service skills.

Tried ordering food from here and have it delivered through grub hub; this restaurant gave my order the the wrong driver and instead of trying to make me a new order or rectify their mistake, they just canceled it without any regard. Wasted 40 minutes waiting for food from here!!!
