I was attending a funeral service a few feet away and had been craving a bean pie for weeks. It’s hard for me to get over to South Orange Avenue , so I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity. I arrived about 30 minutes or less before their official opening time and went to the door. The woman inside initially said they were closed, so I asked what time they opened because I genuinely wasn’t aware — I usually check Google beforehand. Even though she seemed a little hesitant...
The only spot anyone should be getting pies. My partner and frequent here. I love every dessert I’ve had, but if I had to pick my favorites would be banana pudding and bean pie.
