I wanted to take the time to just say the manager Lucy and the staff are very patient and helpful. I had a dispute for a transaction for 50$ which I believed was from this location. Turns out the location I went to wasn’t even this store and the dispute was actually totally incorrect because my cc picked up a Rita’s location NEXT to where I actually went, a Greek restaurant next to them. I coincidentally went to a different Rita’s so I didn’t realize this wasn’t actually that transaction ? anyway it took a lot of dedication from Lucy to even figure this out, she went above and beyond.

I love Italian ices and although I prefer CJ’s Ices in Bayonne, NJ, my boyfriend and I decided to stop at the Rita’s on Broad Street in Bloomfield yesterday.He got a pint-sized cotton candy and I got a large Swedish fish/cotton candy mixed. Absolutely delicious & refreshing, though I notice Rita’s ices melt considerably quicker than CJ’s & Ralph’s in Staten Island.The service is quick & efficient though the girls who work there tend to have a habit of slamming the window in your face once the transaction is completed, not giving the customer an opportunity to say “thank you.”One cool thing about this specific Rita’s is Holsten’s across the street, where the final scene of the last episode of the Sopranos was filmed. Have a bite there if you’re in the mood for possible cardiac arrest. ?

Super good! I usually get a piña colada or Swedish Fish gelati with frozen vanilla custard swirled in the middle & on top. Very quick service and the staff is always so nice and accommodating. I’ll definitely be back for that new peach ring special that’s temporarily on the menu. This place is too good to pass up.
Great treats to have when the weather is great. Treats are delicious and service was presentable. Will stop by in the future again

Came for the first day of spring. Our son had his first treat of the season and couldn't have been happier. Now the line was LONG because it was free Icee day, but the wait was worth it. We signed up to use their app and will use it for points and treats in the future.
