The smell alone here consumes you. It’s delicious and tempting and you cannot leave here without buying something. The staff is so friendly too. They have every type of cookie, biscotti flavor, and cake known to man.

My family's traditional celebration cake is an Italian rum cake with two fillings and whipped cream. My family is from up North and Monmouth County. Years ago we moved to ocean county in Toms River and ever since it has been very hard to find a good Italian bakery. My daughter ordered me my birthday cake from Del Ponte's in Bradley Beach because in the last few years I've been totally dissatisfied with the cakes that I've gotten in the Toms River area.

We live all the treats at Del Ponte's - the Italian cookies are a staple in our household !! And the cakes, carrot cake, strawberry shortcake, specialty cakes, cheesecake (our favorite is actually the plain!), pastries, brownies, savory snacks... you can't go wrong!
