It was kind of a surprise to drive north on US206 and find this charming place, appearing like from nowhere. Great view of the Kittatiny Lake, relaxing seating area at the back of the tavern, an excelent burger and very good selection of beer. Great place to be on Sunday afternoon !
Great atmosphere, very nice view of the lake. Its simple but has its charm. I wish the curb appeal is better- I think tavern can make much more money if they attract travelers with their unique style. We stayed in Cobmin Ridge Motel nearby with modern rooms and great designs. The whole area is absolutely a treasure for hiking, especially now in the fall. We will be back :)

Best.dive.bar.on.the.planet. Beautiful lake views, awesome service, a solid bacon cheeseburger, and a jukebox full of great tunes. One of my favorite places to hang out with friends - or enjoy by myself with a book and a glass of wine by the lake.
