“A landmark in Seaside Heights in operation since 1933 with a great atmosphere well attended by Locals and Tourists. Hands down, the best draft beer selection in all of Seaside and you will not find a better Bloody Mary anywhere on the planet! The pub food is excellent; I recommend Mama's Meatloaf.“

“Our pizza adventures continue and we found ourselves at the Anchor Inn a few nights ago. The place was full of families and friends enjoying a varied menu. We came for pizza but ended up ordering an appetizer and salad. Everything was very good! Service was fast and attentive. There’s an accessible entrance. Street parking was easy, but there’s also a parking lot. The place is probably a madhouse in the summer, but we had no trouble getting a table.“

“Overall a very good experience celebrating my birthday & a friend's. Our waiter Dylon, did an excellent job making food recommendations & checkin up on us. The food seemed a bit pricey (I know everything has gone up in price) but was delicious. One thing I would mention is when the folks come around to the table to clear places, glasses, etc. maybe coach them to wait a bit and remove mostly all the dishes at the time time. Outside of that this place is a hit! Keep up the great work!“

“Almost all my reviews take place at lunchtime recently with friends. Today we went to the Stonefire Grille and had a very nice “lunch special” and sat undisturbed for well over an hour while we talked. For lunch special, you have two regular size burgers they call them sliders and shoestring fries and a domestic beer for $15. I believe really good lunch deal and it was several others including, you’ll see the video of the tacos. These were enormous and my friend a good size guy with a nice appetite got one taco down and boxed the others to go home - and rightfully so they were huge. The burgers were cooked perfect I asked for medium rare and that’s exactly what I got on your typical hamburger size bun bun two of them probably 4 ounces each perfect burger two is a meal and especially with the fries. I ordered them well done and they came out just like I wanted them.I’ll be back here again maybe next week and have my other friends show you their meals. It will be the first time for both of them to come here. But I added it to my list of places that we can go to lunch within driving distance for everybody .The server was great. We saw him four times the whole hour and a half that we were there. I really like that when they see that we’re busy chatting that they leave us alone. Just watching to make sure anything is getting ready to be refilled. In the videos, check out the interior it’s nice as sort of a chipping wedge shaped area along bar that opens up two way pretty rectangular dining area, which is very casual. A lot of stool type chairs for high seating. After a while, the place filled up with people, but the noise level was more than acceptable, even though it was probably a good 3rd to a half filled by the time we left, but we were never rushed to leave. I love that.So finally, we have great service. We had really really good food and decent atmosphere. Can’t really ask for better of any place that we would have lunch. It’s right there at the top.Update February 16, 2024Just went there with two other friends for lunch and both were very satisfied with the two hamburgers and fries lunch. They were $12 each I believe and I got chicken Auge, they’re actually fish tacos, but you can substitute it.I have included three videos. I believe that show you the nice quiet place they gave us. I told the girl when we got there that we wanted to sit where it was quiet we’d be a while and she sat us off to the side. It was quiet, peaceful she was a tent of enough. And we all had good food. So I upped the atmosphere of this from four stars to five because it does have a very quiet dining area and then an eating area around the bar on two sides and a huge bar itself. It’s a little bit of everything for everyone.Just to let you know the majority of the crowd at lunch up till 3 o’clock when we left, yes, we were there for three hours, was mostly in the table area around the bar and very few people in the dining room separate. So I was able to take these shots easily , but three hours and left cared forward, but not bothered as a nice way to have a lunch with friends. So it’s still a thumbs up from me.“

“On the price:value axis, this place has it going ON.The carbonara I got wasn't a true carbonara, more an Alfredo with bacon, but honestly I like my pasta saucy so no complaints here!It was delicious. Portions fabulous. For the $20 I paid, I got 2 meals of pasta. My waitress was busy AF but on point. She always glanced at me as she passed and knew what I needed and just kept the flow going. Wish I knew her name. Thank you ?Busy, vibrant, fun spot. The kind of place you walk in a stranger and walk out with a new bar buddy.“

“Patrick’s Grille is simply a great place to meet friends and have a great meal in a lively upbeat atmosphere. This restaurant is totally customer focused and is always innovating in the kitchen and raising the bar for customer service. Pats specials menu says “It’s an honor to serve you” ! They mean it and live by that mission statement. Highly recommend this great restaurant.“

“I came on a Thursday afternoon after a long Wednesday night and let me tell you for those of you that don’t know these can be some of your toughest ratings based off physical and mental prowess. The food was stellar and the service second to none. I was just speaking with my party about what kind of burger we wanted and it came out split on the plate for us. Watching the bartender behind the bar absolutely command the grill was an experience in itself. I would suggest stopping in for 4 hours and leaving fulfilled.“

“We love this place. Have been coming here for years. Great food, especially the pizza. It has lots of seating including booths, high tops and tables. The bar is spacious and the crowd is friendly. The staff is great, no matter how crowed it is everything comes out quickly. Past night had the spinach dip that was made in a bread bowl, my new favorite appetizer, feeds two people. Plenty of parking.“

“Typical bar food, the staff are very kind and helpful. It’s small but works for the community. The wings are very good along with their fries. I wasn’t as big a fan of the sliders but to each its own. Definitely a place I would frequent.“

“If you keep it simple here you'll be fine. Picnic table seating and a decent burger make the Chop Shop a very smart low-key choice when in the always sketchy Seaside Heights vicinity. Remember to go to the Chop Shop serving food instead of the numerous shops in the area dismantling your 2022 Camry. A very solid burger. Four, very solid stars.“

“This Chapter House is excellent!! Stumbled across this place by accident, and a good thing we did! The Caprese Panini is the best I EVER had! The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the pesto was delicious, you could tell homemade. I substituted the fries for vegetables, and even the broccoli and carrots were so fresh. We sat at the bar, and the bartender Heidi was so nice, personable, and provided excellent service. A true experienced professional! She checked on us, made sure our food was to our liking, and friendly. It wasn't about her just doing her job. We can tell she likes what she does. The bar and restaurant were also very clean. We will be back.“

“Took a daytrip to Belmar and decided to check out Anchor Tavern. The bartender Lindsey was friendly and accommodating. She recommended the wings which were cooked perfectly with their house bbq. 10/10! Manager Emerald made me feel welcomed and was very pleasant to talk to. Great service, great atmosphere. I imagine the Anchor is the place to be in the summer time. Check it out!“

“I gotta say-- the Irish Rail has really stepped up its game! When I came here years ago, the service was slow and the food was OK, but this time the service was excellent and friendly, and the food was really good! I don't know if something changed in the last 5-6 years, but keep up the good work!“

“First time here. Cozy inside. Lots of character. Attentive staff and excellent service. Big pour for my glass of wine. I had the manhattan clam chowder. Lots of the good stuff-clams, potatoes and onions in a nice tomato clam broth. I also had the lobster Mac and cheese sliders. Two sliders, side of slaw and fries. Very tasty. My partner had a patty melt. Excellent beef, sautéed onions and perfect rye bread. We'll definitely be back this summer!“

“Great dive bar with excellent bartenders. While it doesn't look like much compared to the other bars in town, it does deliver with its old style feel and more than standard drinks. You will never be disappointed or feel ripped off when ordering a drink from this place (cheap and made right).“
“My choice was the turkey club sandwich. My husband had the California Burger. The food was really delicious. The man bartender was also the waiter. He was very pleasant. French fries were hot and we would go back. It was a quiet dinner (Tuesday).“

“Delicious food at a prime location near the beach - would highly recommend. I visited in the off season and their outdoor patio was closed but it looked like a beautiful place to hang out outdoors. The service was good but the food was even better. Their french onion soup is fantastic. We also had the chicken nachos, wings and pizza and all were delicious.Parking: It can be difficult to find parking in the summer, there is no dedicated parking for the restaurant but I imagine a lot of people just walk or bike to the location.Kid-friendliness: Definitely a kid friendly place, they bring out activity sheets and crayons for kids. It’s a casual setting.“

“Great Bar. I came here after a long day of working on a film set and got a burger and the chicken tenders to go. The atmosphere in here couldn't be any more perfect for a bar to hang out at. Friendly bartenders and a band playing, though I'm not sure if that's a regular thing I was there on a Wednesday night. The hamburger was excellent and so were the chicken fingers. Additionally, I had some wings from here a few days prior as one of our producers got a full tray for lunch. Those are also great. This place is an absolute must.“

“Dear JSS, I know it’s not PKs anymore, but if we can bring back the pool tables for the winter times next year. I understand the summer is pretty packed. But the two pool tables side by side is what I loved or atleast one. Side note - a pool league? PS: like my comment if you want one pool table back?“

“First time visiting here as we celebrated a long time friends' birthday. Our table of 10 were all over the board as to ordering and I didn't have the luxury of asking their thoughts on their dish. My wife and I ordered one of the specials, a broiled grouper florentine with cherry tomatoes in a butter sauce. Done just right, with an ample side of asparagus and an even larger dollop of mashed potatoes which came on a separate plate!!!!This was executed beautifully, and I have no doubt that it was the right choice. Fwiw, it's a bar, with outdoor seating, ....a real nice room on what was a beautiful night. The menu smacks of pub grub, but we were ecstatic as to our grouper dish. There is a limited entree menu and I have no doubt that the kitchen stars on any of which is on the menu or their special menu for the evening. We were there to catch the birthday girls' cousin who plays there each first and last Wednesday. Frank with his Gibson is an amazing musician who along with Tommy on saxs (soprano, tenor & baritone, along with flute) with Jerry on the congas just tore through a musical itinerary that had them covering George Benson, Carlos, War, to changing gears and doing Neil, and Dylan. They were great and not to be missed. There's so much music to be had down here, be it AP, Bradley, etc. Not many had music as what went down last night at Jacks. There were also more than a few people who were there for Frank and Tommy. Very cool place. Waitresses rock and make sure you're taken care of.“

“Fun atmosphere, nice staff, clean too but I really like it because of their food. I tried fish and chips from so many places down there trying to find the one I love most and Hook's wins! Hands down. I have had their crab cake too and I have to say that was also excellent ?“

“We dine at the Alehouse pretty much on a weekly basis. Everything is always fresh and delicious. My husband loves the Justin-and Turkey Justin when it’s a special (it should be a regular item!). I love their California burger, scampi wings, and chicken francaise! Our son loves their mushroom/swiss burger. We also love their tuna bites and bar pies. The wait staff is super friendly.“
