“I gave been to playa bowl over 10 times and my experience today was not good. The staff today was not very welcoming. If the owners were there today when I went they sure were not friendly. I told the cashier no coconuts and they put some in, then she says you want a lid and I said well yea, it’s to go. She didn’t even put them in a bag. I always buy the Nutella one and I always buy 2. All the other times I had no problems great staff and friendly.“

“Love Playa Bowls on the Asbury Park Boardwalk not only do they have awesome menu to choose from. They always give my dog a pup cup as well so he loves going there with me.!!!!!

“Only did a take out order so cant speak to much about the atmosphere... but the service was very polite and accommodating. Food also came out as always and not too expensive in my opinion. Recommend coming here whether it's take out or sitting down and staying“

“Today I tried CJ's custom made Strawberry Lemonade. It was great and I will definitely willbe going back for more. I recommend anyone who loves Strawberry Lemonade to go try it. Maybe with enough interest it can become a regular menu option!“

“Good assortment of fresh, clean pre-packed food and made-to-order. I got a delicious, hearty bowl with: tempeh, quinoa, grilled miso eggplant, sautéed mushrooms, sweet potato with a tasty homemade dressing. It was not oily, not salty, not sugary… tasted homemade and very clean and delicious. The tempeh was cooked perfectly. Also had homemade mushroom barley soup and a green smoothie. This is a casual, bright place, good for a quick stop-in. Updated from previous review on 2024-12-17“

“Mike is a godsent! A friend of mine bought some soup last week and it was the most delicious soup I've had. Feeling a little under the weather, I thought I could just stop in and grab a container. Unfortunate for me, being new to this, they are revamping their menu for pre-order and pick up only (which I am fine with) so in another week I will be in heaven!
Mike was kind enough to give me some stock and I went home and made soup with that! I very much look forward to the new menu and patronizing this establishment! Thank you for being you!“

“Love this Playa Bowls!!! Missing it greatly since summer is over!!! The staff is so friendly and happy, they go above and beyond even when packed. I have had them even go so far as to take my order via the phone when someone else went to pick up for me!! Wish there was one closer to me (the one by me isn’t nearly as great!!) that had this atmosphere and charisma!“

“How absolutely incredible are my experiences at this Playa bowls location. First off, the drive-through is amazing. The vibes in this location are great, where I’m always greeted by very kind young people whom always have a smile on their face. Other locations need to take after this one, definitely!
