Calandra's Italian Village

We chose this restaurant for our Father's Day dinner and, while the food was good, the overall dining experience was disappointing.

For a restaurant at this price point, the atmosphere felt surprisingly chaotic. Throughout our meal, staff repeatedly dragged chairs across the dining room, creating constant loud scraping noises in what was already a very noisy environment. Later, they began moving large partition walls around the restaurant. When I asked whether they were preparing for a private event, I was told they were simply resetting tables.

I understand that restaurants need to prepare for upcoming service, but doing so during peak dining hours significantly disrupted the experience. It felt as though the focus was on setting up for the next guests rather than providing an enjoyable experience for the customers currently dining.

The food was enjoyable, but the constant noise and disruption overshadowed the meal. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don't plan to return.

This place is huge and offers so much from a restaurant to a tavern to a bakery, etc. Great baked goods. Their cakes are quite possibly the best I've ever tasted. Delicious!

Please, someone tell me is this worth $18-$20???? This is ridiculous, I can get a fatter sub at wawa for under $10. If you need receipt proof I can provide that too!!!

Cake was really delicious, sevice ok but not as remembered.

My boyfriend went here with his grandma and the girl working, Marianna, slid her phone number to another employee to give to him. totally inappropriate. Extremely unprofessional and weird. Made him extremely uncomfortable while he’s trying to enjoy his dinner with his grandmother. Super creepy environment. Work while you’re at work, don’t try to pick up customers

Deli service is horrible, no I take that back, it’s not really service in a normal sense because that would imply you actually get something for showing up. If you are lucky to actually have a deli worker acknowledge you, they are going to look at you like you have three heads. Really awful experience but I guess they are making so much bank that they can afford to ignore customers. Good for them. Just shut the deli down why bother.
