Always a staple to visit Ben and Jerry’s when visiting Cape May! They always are amazing with my son’s peanut allergy and make sure the ice cream was safe for him. Very clean and such friendly staff!!!! And of course the ice cream is bussin. I believe that’s what the kids say now a days ?

Best ice cream shoppe! Location couldn’t be better as nothing beats ice cream, strolling and window shopping. This place has the friendliest workers that make sure you get exactly what you want. I always leave with a smile on my face.

Funny looking white guy got smart with me for standing up for a employee he was yelling at and called me the n word under his breathe. Hope this place gets shut down

Ice cream is ice cream but i can see that the staff is being mistreated and under poor management. watched the manager get angry with an employee and made her feel terrible over a simple mistake that wasnt that big of a deal… i felt disrespected myself and i wasnt happy to see something so unprofessional in front of my children..

Good ice cream. Excellent service. Great place to stop on the Mall in Cape May. Will definitely return.

This place has always been fantastic and the owner takes gluten allergies very seriously. As a precaution, for those with gluten sensitivity or celiac disease, they change gloves use a clean scooper, and open a new container of ice cream to avoid cross contamination. This is key and the reason why we choose this ice cream venue over the plethora available in Cape May. Thank you so much for your compassion for your customer's special dietary needs!

The ice cream was great - they were very accommodating to my gluten allergy. They cleaned their scoop and opened a brand new never opened before tub of ice cream to scoop for me.

It's a Ben and Jerry's at the shore, so there are a few things you'd expect, a ton of people, very little seating and sticky tables. Once you get past that, it was a great experience. My husband was able to get a non-dairy, almond milk ice cream, which is always a plus when we can find non-dairy dessert. I had the Lights, Caramel, Action. My kids had their usual, chocolate and vanilla. I loved the wooden spoons. It reminded me of eating the Jack and Jill Dixie cup ice cream in elementary school. They were perfectly strong enough to hold up to my loaded ice cream. This location is locally owned and operated so we'd probably go again. I usually like to try a local place but it's hard to find gluten free for one family member and dairy free for another so this met our needs perfectly .

Ben and Jerry's vegan cream is excellent. I'm not denouncing the product. The price is out of control. We had the two current flavors (cookie dough and Change the Whirled). Change the Whirled is the finest flavor B & J's has ever created, sunflower butter-based with pieces of graham cracker and chocolate chunks. It's creamy and perfectly textured. The cookie dough is wonderful but doesn't excite me like the Change the Whirled. Unfortunately, the price makes you rethink the purchase. Silver lining--it keeps my wallet heavier.

I'm a big fan of good quality ice creams but I had a horrible experience yesterday at Ben & Jerry's in Cape May, NJ. I'm sure they are on social and environmental crusade but they provide you with a wooden spoon to eat your ice cream. The spoon is weak and constantly on the verge of breaking but worse of all the spoon conveys off flavors to the ice cream and tactilly a bad mouth feel. Until they come up with a better spoon or go back to plastic I'm off Ben & Jerry's; you're wasting good money on a poor quality ice cream experience.
