I came to dock Mikes with low expectations. I tend to be a slave to google reviews - if a place is under 4 stars I just won’t go. Regardless, we decided to give it a shot. Ordered the banana cinnamon pancakes and the corned beef hash. The corned beef hash was fresh and seemed legitimately homemade, and the poached eggs were perfectly cooked. I’m not a huge fan of pancakes, but they were easily in the top 5. The cinnamon and banana reminded of bananas foster. We’ll be back...
Very pretty place to eat. The deck is gorgeous and I love the outside is lined with benches and garden beds. Service was fast and friendly. My only complaint was that it was too much food -Dishes are very large for the average person.
the food tastes fantastic, well done to feel like home, the place is clean and well served, service was done in both English and Portuguese, to facilitate both clientele, my kids loved the food, the vibe is wonderful, we've arrived around sunset and the place looks gorgeous. Kudos the the crew, best of luck and all success.
