Dined there last September with friends and I was extremely impressed with not only the food ~ which was superb but the ambiance and the staff !!!! What can make or break and differentiate between good and GREAT is the staff ~ and the staff at the Ebbitt Room restaurant in the Virginia House B&B was superb. Even on a busy night the attention we received was perfect.
My husband and I visit The Virginia Hotel annually for the holidays. Our waitress was Ema. She was very nice and attentive. The food was DELICIOUS!! I had my first wagyu carpaccio and it was AMAZING! We had caviar, deviled eggs, the m/p crudo, a burger, one dessert and 6 drinks. For less than $270 without tip, you can't beat it. The food is top notch. The decor is GORGEOUS!! Whether you get a seat on the porch or indoors, you will be happy. The indoors is more festive but...
What a beautiful and delicious restaurant for a special night out in Cape May. Everything was delicious from cocktails, to appetizers, entrees and dessert. And the service was excellent.
