We stopped by for drinks + apps on a less than bus afternoon in October- the weather was gorgeous so we sat outside. Some of the tables had signs directing you to the bar to order. Some did not. There seemed to be some miscommunication with a staff member and our table as well as a few other tables near us- setting the mood off less than pleasant. We then proceeded to find another staff member and inquire to the procedure of ordering drinks to which *that* staff member was helpful...
We stayed in room 18 and overall it was absolutely wonderful and we cannot wait to go back. The only real issue we had was with the food; the burger we got was undercooked to the point the couple next to us made a comment about it but they immediately remade it so no major issue. Then the breakfast in the morning, we came down at 8 and nobody showed up until 830 and my French toast was burnt and a fly in the OJ but other than that the food was good.

A comfortable, attractive place to stay, close to some of Cape May's museums and shopping. This is an historic inn and rooms are furnished in period style, including brass hangers. Subtracted a star because there is no elevator and there are rooms on the second and third floors.
