I read most of the reviews, and they are spot on! Freda's is a culinary delight, no matter what you order. Unlike some of the other Cape May restaurants, it is a cozy, friendly, quiet place. We have put Freda's at the top of our list for almost 2 decades, and it has always been great.

If you like byob, seafood, homemade desserts and made from scratch meals please don’t sleep on this place, it is amazing! Seating is tight inside but it makes you feel like you’re sitting in your grandparents house for a good home cooked meal.

One of the finest, most delicious dinners I've ever had, anywhere. I had the 210 Ocean Street, two kinds of pasta with Lobster, Shrimp, Scallops, the biggest lump crab meat I've ever seen, in a light tomato cream sauce. Just spectacular! The tremendous amount of seafood in this dish was more than I ever would have expected and was cooked to perfection! My dinner companions had the Crab Cakes Marcus and the Duck which were superb! Deserts were the Bread Pudding and Apple...
