Again if you've read my reviews you know how much I support local places, but George's is really just for the bargain minded. Their prices are low, and there's good reason for that. So if you're pinching your pennies it's not the worst place you could hit, but if you're on vacation in Cape May I don't think you're going that lowball. You're not very hungry don't really care about what the food is like go for it. Otherwise, there...

We had been to George's place years ago after seeing it on DDD and it was amazing. We were so excited to come back. Sadly the quality of the food has gone down. We had an octopus app and the plate was mainly chickpeas, tomato and dressing ......there was hardly any octopus, a few small pieces. Very skimpy and disappointing. The Salads were fresh and good. My husband's Red Snapper was bad and smelled of ammonia, he sent it back and we are people who never send food...

Exceptional food!! Had the gyro, the lamb was cooked to perfection and THAT SAUCE!! Nostimo!! Accompanied by fries and a delicious salad. This was our first visit... it will NOT be our last.
