This is a not so hidden gem (anymore) that we always make it a point to get to. Yes, it’s “just” a walk up counter. Yes, you will probably wait in line. But do it! The food is fantastic and the staff hospitality is just as wonderful. Spend a few minutes chatting with “the guy in the hat” and he’ll make your day.

Being gluten free, my options are typically very limited. This wasn't the case at Hot Dog Tommy's. I was able to safely enjoy a variety of hot dogs on a bun that didn't crumble to pieces with a side hot, crispy fries and coleslaw. The owner was very personable and explained how his staff were trained to handle gluten free items! I can't wait to return this summer!

Amazing experience!! The owner was so kind and welcoming. The gluten free options are numerous and their cross contamination protocols are amazing!! Highly highly recommend. It’s a can’t miss spot in Cape May<3
