Simple/classic menu. All dishes cooked to perfection. The rillette was to die for. Staff were attentive and polite. We brought out own wine, which they kindly provided an ice bucket for etc. very reasonably priced for the quality.
This is about the 5th time we have eaten here. Something seems off. We never had to wait for our reservation time. Our entire came out late, the waitress asked several times if we got our entires. Is that something she should know? They ran out of several things by 730pm kinda early for a holiday.
We have been going to Cape May for years and have always wanted to go to Louisa's, but could never get in. This year we made it a priority, but when I looked at the sides on their menu, I rolled my eyes. Every entree comes with brown rice and slaw? Are you kidding me? We will not be dining there. This is obviously a way to speed service up, as well as cut costs ... major league fail Louisa's. Fix it or you will become just another shore dining spot, instead of...
