The ambiance is relaxing and elegant, making for a great meal and experience. Peter Shields is truly one of Cape May's finest dining experiences, with exceptional, refined, and flavorful food that is beautifully plated. The wine list is well-curated, featuring a nice range of options across price points, although the corkage fee is $40 per bottle (only allowed 2). The cavatelli and short rib special, as well as the fresh tomato salad, are delicious, and the service is always impeccable.
