Very dog friendly (outside only). They even have a separate doggie menu. We had wine and NA beer by the large fire pit and watched the sun go down. Tacos and chowder were very good. The key lime pie was excellent. Mary was our server and could not have been nicer or more efficient.

It got pretty cold after the sun went down.

If you want a classic Cape May beach vibe, grabbing a seat at the outside bar at The Rusty Nail is tough to beat. The atmosphere is completely relaxed, and sitting outdoors with a cold drink right off the beach sets the perfect tone.
We came by for an early dinner, and the bar service was fast and attentive. Both the shrimp cocktail and the chicken quesadilla were fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot.
Insider tip: plan to arrive between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM....

Great burger. Don’t get the seafood pasta. Good seafood, terrible pasta. There were a lot of flies which was annoying but the live music and fire pits were cool. Orange crushes were bad. Aperol spritzes were hit or miss.
