pretty interior, good food and drinks and a nice upscale atmosphere, that is also stylish. The best part was that we weren't rushed and really got to enjoy our dinner
I know that the industry is struggling but we have been to other Restaurants during our week in Cape May that are far superior and definitely not as expensive. Cia Mia on the mall if far superior. The service was extremely slow with no communication from our server. People in service industry please manage expectations and communicate service struggles. As for our meal we had shrimp cocktail which was good, crap corn chowder which was awful, Caesar Salad was good, grilled octopus salad and oysters which were OK. For our meals we ordered the crap cakes which were not good. They came with a green sauce that was nasty. We also ordered the halbut that was tasteless and tiny for the $42 price. All in all we were terrible disappointed and will not be back. The 2 killers......Poor service and terrible food.
Ordered a salmon, waited over 20 minutes, walked all the way back to my hotel just to find out they gave me a kids grilled cheese instead. I can’t eat bread or French fries so the whole meal had to go to the trash. When I called back they were confused and are trying to “figure it out” and won’t provide proof that transaction is cancelled.
Beautiful location across from beach in the surf club hotel. Food was very good and nicely presented, had crab cakes and halibut. The rest of the experience was subpar for a restaurant that categorizes itself as fine dining. Two tables next to us were left with plates from previous diners for most of our dinner which was less than appetizing especially when the flies came. Our server gave us an odd look when we asked for pepper and said she would ask the chef then came back and thew some little white pepper packs on the table. Service overall slow, probably understaffed but it seemed like there were lots of people working. Great potential but under executed
Went to have dinner, was told a lot of the staff was out so had to order from the lunch menu. That should have been the red flag to leave but we stayed. We ordered wing which were tuff almost like they were warmed up in microwave to served hot, ordered the cheese plate was told that they were out of blu cheese but they would substitute another cheese instead but that didn't happen.
Everything was delicious, I especially enjoyed their lunch menu. They have outdoor seating on the patio for dinner but I mostly just ate around the pool. Great pool food service
We stayed at a small B & B a few blocks away and took the owner's suggestion to try SeaSalt Restaurant. It was outdoor seating only on their deck which was nice-- with the ocean across the street we had a nice breeze throughout our dinner. It definitely was one of our more expensive meals, but I have to say our dinner was delicious! My husband had swordfish, while I tried my luck with the blackened Tile fish-- both were cooked to perfection and had wonderful seasoning. Glad we went.
We stayed at Ocean Club hotel and had lunch and dinner here was excellent both times. We had crab croquet and clams both fantastic. The clams had a very good broth. For dinner we had lobster ravioli, tuna poke and scallops. For drinks we had passion fruit margarita and mojito. No bad meal here. Luther was our waiter and was very personable and attentive. Highly recommend
Great atmosphere. Good food
This restaurant was just average when we had dinner here in the beginning of October....sorry to say. Was looking forward to having dinner here and cannot say anything special about this restaurant except our waiter was very nice although he said that they were short handed. We are willing to give it another try next time we visit Cape May.

Awesome bar and restaurant with outstanding staff. We ate at the bar for lunch and were not disappointed. Great local beer and a good selection of wine. The avocado BLT was great and we would differently be back to try other things.
Our first visit to Sea Salt, over the summer, was fabulous. We sat outside on their patio for breakfast. The food was fantastic, they offered a variety of fresh juices and the service was also stellar. My husband and I both ordered poached eggs and they were perfect- the best we have ever had in a restaurant. We were very excited to visit for a second time in the Fall and it was so disappointing. While the service was good- the food left much to be desired. My husband's omelet was average. My poached eggs were swimming in too much water and the potatoes (plural) where nothing more than one, tiny potato cut into a few pieces. For the price you pay here- I expected a little more food or something comparable to what we had in the Summer. We will give them one more try during peak season in the Summer but will probably not visit again in the off season.
We stayed at the Ocean club Hotel and figured we would eat dinner at the restaurant at the hotel. I know it’s the beginning of off season but they only had like 4 entrees. I ordered the half chicken and it was only a leg and thigh. For the price I was super disappointed . My husband got the pork chop and said it was decent. We got house salads also and sodas. Our bills was $90 and I walked out hungry because I couldn’t stomach the greasy dark meat chicken. Not worth the money.. AT ALL
The SeaSalt Restaurant is at the beach and part of the Ocean Club Hotel. It is upscale - with a nice ambience and live music. The service is attentive .They have a nice menu - but limited - including beer selections. We had fish for apps and entree’s - all very good - and large portions.
My husband and I went for dinner and we were very disappointed. The atmosphere, drinks and service are amazing but the food was terrible! Stick with appetizers. They’re we’re good, but main entree was horrible! We had the pasta with clams, shrimp, muscles in garlic butter sauce and it was nothing but grease. We felt sick to our stomach after that.
