Very nice holiday dinner for Thanksgiving. The only difficulty was how dimly lit the restaurant was (we went in the evening) and we had to take out his phone to use the flashlight to see the menu (we weren't the only ones). Food and service was top notch.

Cozy setting in the beautiful heart of Cape May's historic Congress Hall. The risotto was creamy and delicious. My husband got the braised short ribs which were also out of this world. We will definitely return.

Our server was perfect and made excellent recommendations. We were first seated at a table in the room with the fireplace, but we were unhappy with the poor lighting. We were graciously moved to a booth with great lightening in the same room. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Dinner on the veranda was fabulous. But if I may comment prior to that we were trying to have a drink on the new front outside bar area. The poor bartender ran out of wine glasses. Had to run inside and was gone for at least 15 minutes trying to get more glassware , said bc of wedding no more wine glasses. There were dirty glasses everywhere bc he didn't have time to bus them and no one to help him. We tried to help him clear some off tables to more customers could sit and drink too. I know congess hall strives for extremely high service so just wanted to point that out.
Historic place to dine, ate inside main dining room by fire. Mac n Cheese app is a great share, Short Ribs and Hanger steak were delicious. Service was prompt and informative

Blue pig tavern is a very classy place. Of course because it's part of the historic congress hall. Very friendly hostess and waiter with small hiccups. Also two great dish with a hiccup. Overall great experience.

Great food. My server was excellent and appropriately attentive. Thank you for being gracious to a single female patron. So many places seem to be more uncomfortable than I am about eating alone!!!

Everything from service to food was high quality ingredients served well. Didn't hurt sitting outside on a beautiful day. My turkey was perfectly sliced and seasoned and fresh. Turkey burger looked excellent too. Will be back.
