This review is based on a previous visit. I received a gift certificate for the Blue Rose Inn & Restaurant. I resently called to make reservation with no answer and the mailbox was full. I sent an email with no response. After researching online I found a posting that they were permanently cosed! Again I tried calling and finally was able to talk to someone from the Inn who informed me that the restaurant was closed but the Inn was still functioning. They would honor my gift...
We had a wonderful dinner here last year. Portion sizes were perfect. Staff was very professional. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought out a special dessert for birthday guy. Sat on the deck and it was a lovely evening.
Hands down the best Restaurant in Cape May. My wife and I have sat down multiple times at just about every restaraunt in Cape May, from the Ugly Mug to Peter Shields. Our top picks: The Ebbitt Room, The Washington Inn, and Union Square (for their seafood), but The Blue Rose climbs well above the rest. The quality and detail to each entree is spectacular.
