Finally tried this charming place for breakfast! Cozy quaint and welcoming! Excellent service. Delicious fresh squeezed OJ! Eggs Benedict were tasty with a good portion of bread potatoes! Yogurt fruit bowl excellent!

I was really looking forward to having breakfast at The Mad Batter, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.

I ordered the Chesapeake Bay Benedict. The English muffins were soggy, the potatoes tasted as though they had been sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time, and the entire meal was lukewarm rather than hot and fresh.

The service also left a lot to be desired. Our waiter, Tom, came across as very cold and unfriendly....

The food was delicious and the real highlight was our service. Tom did an amazing job he was so warm and welcoming! I have never had such an amazing waiter with such an excellent personality! Would highly recommend, 10/10 for food and service.
