Had dinner on Saturday night and the place was almost full. Very nicely decorated for Christmas. We were seated right away but did not get a server for about ten mins. Our server took our drink order and we waited about another 10-15 mins to receive them ( my beer was room temp by then ). Placed our order and it took about 40 mins to receive which was fine ( server told us the kitchen was very slow ). Three of us got the Pork and it was cooked perfectly, my wife loved the Crab Cakes. Service was not good at all, she never came to check on our meal or to refill our drinks. Would recommend this place for the food but hopefully you get another server then I had.

I want to give a huge thank you to today’s Santa Claus at the Brunch with Santa! He is the most engaging and sweetest Santa I’ve ever encountered. My 2yo grandson for the 2nd year refuses to sit on any Santa’s lap or even next to him with a parent and screams at the sight of Santa. Sensing his hesitation, today’s Santa immediately engaged with him by opening a decorated briefcase filled with candy canes, which caught our grandson’s attention. Santa held his attention and masterfully communicated so we were able to take a family photo without tears, which was a first! This Santa encounter was so positive that I’m certain it will reduce our grandson’s hesitancy and anxiety towards Santa Claus in the future!!

My parents and I went out for dinner, and my mom ordered the steak. unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing. It lacked flavor entirely and even had a taste which made my mom not want eat it. We all tried it and agreed something was not right, very overcooked . We had visited over the summer and ordered the filet then as well and it was excellent that time, both the food and the service were great. That’s part of why we came back.
When we brought up the issue to our server, she responded with an attitude and told us it was the same steak they always serve. It was disappointing to be met with defensiveness instead of understanding, especially given our past experience this summer which was a good one.

Martin the bartender will not serve at 10 oclock but he will serve older white men at 10:30. we came for drinks earlier in the evening then went out came back at 9:50 by the time he greeted us at the bar to order food and drinks it was 10:01 not exaggeration. We asked he said he will check but never went back. fast forward to 10:35, older white male with family comes in and asked for food. Martin went to ask, they wavies over the older man to the back thinking we cant see him. When i asked the bartender why can they get food and we cant we just started at me. spend your money elsewhere not at this establishment.

We went there for dinner and sampled some of the freshest seafood possible. The place is bustling, open layout and super polite and engaging staff. Shout out to Elaine for helping us with enthusiasm. Grilled octopus and Thai shrimp appetizers were excellent. Elaine suggested California cabernet savignon and it was outstanding. Light and airy, subtle fruity taste Scallops with corn risotto was cooked to perfection. So was chicken milanese and short ribs. We ate it all, it was so good.yum Pineapple upside down cheesecake to finish the dinner and we were so pleased we went back for breakfast.
Next morning breakfast was again outstanding We had yogurt parfait and crab cake sandwich. Scones and burger So good

This is a place our family frequents when in Cape May and we are never disappointed. We enjoyed a lovely meal with craft cocktails, live music, and overall outstanding service by Sara and Klara. The crab cake was the one dish that didn’t quite hit the mark for me; it was a little on the dry side and could have used a bit more flavor to really shine. Still, I would say it was good, and everything else more than made up for it.
Dessert was a high note. The crème brûlée had the ideal balance of creamy custard and crackly caramelized top, while the raspberry ice cream was bright, refreshing, and a perfect finish to the evening.
The environment was elegant yet relaxing and welcoming, which made it easy to settle in and enjoy ourselves. The staff were friendly and attentive, quick to clear plates without being intrusive.
Overall, The Pier House gave us a meal we thoroughly enjoyed—fresh ingredients, warm hospitality, and a few truly standout moments. We’d be happy to return.

Pier house is an absolute Gem! Went there for our last night on vacation for dinner and this place will def be a main stay for future trips. Delicious drinks, fun and well done service. Love the Pier House! Beautiful, clean restaurant. The Terrace is so nice. Salmon was delicious and the service was great. My only suggestion would be to find a way to cut down on the noise where the servers bus the dishes on The Terrace ( it takes away from the ambience). We have been going to the Pier House for many years and have never had a bad experience.
