“Stumbled upon this welcoming pub after a long working day during UN Week in NYC. As my hotel was near Carteret was able to hop off the NYC bus and stroll right in. Trivia night was on and that was a welcome diversion - as was the prompt and friendly service and the cold beer! BTW, $5 Happy Hour is Monday-Saturday 5-8pm. I’m a wing snob so didn’t give them a high ranking but definitely in the zone of tasty and comfort food! Highly recommended!!!“

“I live in South Jersey went to Jersey City with my wife and daughter. Saw posting about Carmine’s had to give it a try. The food was outstanding 3 sandwiches and the eggplant rollotnie. The flavor , sauce chicken cutlets , Prosciutto was the best. It’s a 2 hour drive but worth it!!!“

“Can I please give it 6 stars? I recently went there with a group of five family members while visiting New Jersey and we had a truly extraordinary night! As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.“

“So freaking delicious! Portions are huge in my opinion for stuffed arepas, so you are definitely getting your moneys worth. Tried the fruit salad as well, the fruit was fresh and presentation was so nice although it was a takeout order. There is definitely a little bit of a wait time on your food, they are making it with love… so be patient. Will be back to try more!“

“This place is right next to the Hamptonn Inn in Elizabeth which is pretty convenient. It wasn't super busy and they sit you down quickly with some good drinks. Our server seemed newer at her job, or perhaps not very good but the food was pretty tasty we had no complaints. \n\nIt's not fine dining but unless you want to eat at the food court at Jersey Mills or IHOP, this was the best option we found.“

“I was here when they first opened. it was not really "for me". Recently tried it again and loved it. I am vegetarian and my friend is vegan. we found options. Really enjoyed the eggplant sandwich. Would love more options (saw on one of the burger challenges a portobello on a burger, so loose the beef and just do the portobello) then I would definitely be there more often. Plan to check out the events that they have in the winter. So nice to have a quality and nice place locally to go out to at night.“

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. “We had the pleasure of dining for the first time at Due 360 in Summit. From the moment we walked in, Luis the manager and Brianna welcomed us and seated us promptly. Luis was very attentive and made sure we were happy with our order. Our server Sofia was extraordinary! she was warm and friendly with genuine smile. “I had an amazing experience dining here tonight. My boyfriend & I wanted to explore Vietnamese cuisine. I’m vegan & loved that they had multiple options for me. We ordered steamed vegetable dumplings to start. Fresh ingredients and the perfect starter to a great meal. The Thai milk tea was outstanding. Not too sweet yet creamy and addictive. The staff directed me towards the lemongrass pho with vegetables and tofu. It was out of this world! The lemongrass flavor was rich and comforting. My boyfriend ordered the Bánh mì. It was sweet and savory - the perfect balance. The baguette was fresh and the meat was very seasoned and well cooked. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Andy. You can tell he’s passionate about his restaurant and customers. I said I added too much chili oil to my broth (rookie mistake - it’s very spicy!) and he was kind enough to add more broth to my leftovers to lessen the heat. He was accommodating, friendly and kind. We can’t wait to explore the whole menu. Highly recommended!“

“We went here for coffee ☕️on a Sunday morning. The shop is nicely decorated, it has a rustic tone 🐮 to it. There's a high counter at the window, a long booth type seat against one wall with some tables, some cozy chairs scattered around, and a couple of free-standing tables. There was plenty of seating available when we arrived.
Like I said we ordered coffee. The food 🥐🍪🍰 displayed looked delicious but we didn't have anything, I was pleasantly surprised to see some gluten-free options 😋 It was also very nice that after we ordered and sat down when our coffee was ready they brought it to our table.
The coffee was decent. I give it one mug out of two.
The one thing I should point out if you're not from the area, parking is not always easy. There is street parking and public parking lots but they do fill up fast and most days you have to pay for parking. Be prepared to walk, pleasantly surprised if you get close parking and allow yourself time to walk there.“

“My girlfriend and myself, retired Philadelphia Police Officers were going on a cruise on 9/12/24 out of Cape Liberty. We arrived early and were looking for a cup of coffee and a quick breakfast. Luckily we picked Une Tasse Cafe, the coffee was fantastic and the breakfast wraps and pastries were delicious. The owner was warm and welcoming and introduced us to her dog, who actually let me pet him. I wish this restaurant was closer to where we live, coffee that good is hard to find. I just ordered two pounds on their web site so that I can enjoy it at home. Hopefully on our next cruise we will stop there again.“
