Updated 9 years later. Still our favorite.

Been coming here for over 15 years and it’s still my local favorite Japanese style restaurant. Food is consistently good, both sushi and kitchen. Menu hasn’t changed much over the years but that’s fine, as they stay true to their strengths. A wholehearted nod to their traditional Japanese and Asian fusion flavors. Great little story: more than 20 years ago I found myself inexplicably single (lol) and walked into Mitsuba (Chatham) just as it opened — I might have been their second-ever customer. I scanned the menu and wanted a lot of sushi, but not the Full “Love Boat.” I told them, “I’m not in love, and that’s too much food. Can I get something about half the size and half the price?”

Our go-to for sushi delivery! Sushi is always fresh and delicious and the staff and delivery folks are always nice. They will make a roll with no crunch, which is great for the gluten intolerant! Looking forward to one day dining in, but until then will keep up our weekly delivery tradition.
