“We came across this place while we were in Philly last month,July. We were looking for a place to dine. It was our first time with Mediterranean cuisine. Positive ambience as soon as we walk in, our server ‘s name ELIF ( hope i remember it right)guided as through with menu selection and showed the best costumer service . I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. “The platters are GENEROUS. They should rename this place Crown King Kareem. Delicious platters. I like the chaat too. Burger was eh. The platters are where it’s at my friends. Don’t sleep on the platters. The price is so cheap and the rice to meat ratio is the reverse of what you would expect. You’ll be looking for more rice in your platter, just drowning in meat. You might get sick of how delicious and plentiful the chicken and lamb are, but I don’t!“

It was ok but had a different taste than what I remember. No fault of theirs. Maybe I was just used to the cart location I previously frequented. Didnt really like the location. “I have recently become a frequent customer of Al Baraka and Falafel king next door. The market has quality meat selection for great prices and I prefer it to other grocery stores. The owners are some of the kindest people I have ever met. Abu Tata is always generous in helping me pick products! Abu Said has gone out of his way to make me a special order of knafeh (kunafa) which has become my new favorite dessert in the world! I have since tried it from other shops and restaurants but no where makes it as good as Al Baraka! I recommend everyone stop in and shop around and try something different! And definitely try the knafeh because it is out of this world!“

“I visited the truck during my lunch break to pick up lunch for me and my mother. We both got the chicken over rice with the salad. The man in the truck was very nice and personable. The person in front of me ordered six plates, and he served them promptly. When it was my turn order, he greeted me warmly and served the food fairly quickly. The food is delicious and the portions are great, the meal comes with a drink as well. it's a plentiful serving because I only ate half for dinner and had the other half the next day for lunch and it was just as delicious. I think overall, you can't beat the delectable taste with the price. 10/10“

“best halal platter for $10 and I grab one everytime Im in the area 2x a month as I live 10 miles away. was in new hempstead in long island this past wknd n tried their halal spots but they were so commercial/trash but this rite here is the way better n more for the price this friendly Afghani woman said i need to go to Brooklyn for the best gyro n halal food. Love the beans n the rice, and I like that the salad is super fresh even the next n you have a choice of onion. ??“

“These guys are the best and service is amazing. The 2 guys that are always there are honest hard workers chasing the American dream. Very polite and they work hard to get your food done and out the door Usually it takes 10 mins to get your food so if your on your lunch break you can't beat it. Prices are just right and food is out if the world. The Shop and food prep area are very clean as well as the workers. I come to this location throughout the week for lunch break or dinner. Myself and my family love it here“
