All in all we very much enjoyed our night out to PH Steakehouse. Drinks were properly made and they had Monkey 47 (my favorite gin that can be hard to find at restaurants) and we enjoyed everything we ordered. They start the night with complimentary Parker house rolls and a seasoned olive oil. I sprung for the French onion soup, which I must admit was one of the best I’ve ever had. Our entrees were enjoyable, however my wife’s medium filet came out closer to medium rare. Having cooked many steaks I fully understand this can happen and they were happy to refire it to my wife’s content. I got the swordfish entree which was cooked perfectly (grill marks and all) and was pleasant enough. My one gripe is the rice and veggies that came on the plate screamed for updating. They were reminiscent of a restaurant from the 70’s, completely bland and felt as if they were there to fill the plate rather than to enjoy. We paid a little more than I would of liked considering I’ve had better meals at the price point, but all in all I would return here.

Had a great meal and our server, David, was great. We live a block away so very happy to see that PH is making a comeback. We looked at the hotel rooms for guests as well and they were great!

Avoid here at all costs My husband and I wanted to come in for a nice belated Valentine's Day steak dinner. We sat in the bar area. Took the server 15 minutes to even come over and greet us. I understand that as we are in the bar are. However, 3 tables sat after us and were greeted first. No biggy tried to still enjoy Ordered 2 apps and drinks and entrees all at same time Around 6:45. Apps came out around 7:10. It was 8:10 and still not steaks. Server was coming over many times at the point. I think he realized everyone around us had gotten there food. 20 minutes later I said sorry we need the check we can't wait anymore. An hour at 15 minutes for food is insane. No manger acknowledged us no apology at all Will not be back here. Treated like we were scum. Do not eat here. Save your money and go somewhere that'll treat you like a human being and that you actually exist. So disappointed :(

Went there for the first time tonight. Someone, I don't even remember who, told us the place wasn't great and to avoid. We decided to ignore that and give PH a chance. The food and service were excellent.I had the bone-in ribeye and my wife had the delmonico. The preparation and the quality of the meat was excellent. The meat, tender and very flavorful. We both love a steak with a melty wall of fat. That's exactly what we were served. The creamed spinach was great too. This review almost ended up as a 4 star, which would still be a good review but less than perfect. The two things we didn't like were that the grilled cheese for my son was made with cheddar, not American, and we didn't appreciate the $7 charge for water as a standard unannounced practice that we didn't ask for. Our waitress, Kaitlyn, handled this with an excellent attitude and demeanor, and instantly took these items off the bill. It was the professional way she handled it, and not making us feel like an annoyance for being unhappy with those two items, that upgraded this review to a 5 star.We will definitely be going back and also recommend to our friends. Thanks for a great night.

Stopped here on 1/14/24 on a slow Sunday evening with my wife and our friend. As soon as we walked in and sat at the bar, we weren't even greeted. Not a "Hi, how are you" or anything. Just a basic "what can I get you?" from the young woman behind the bar. You could tell by her face that she didn't want to be there or help us. Not good. This is a problem already. If you're a "steakhouse", I expect steakhouse service. I've dined at plenty of real steakhouses in the past couple of months and the service has always been exceptional regardless of the establishment....until this place. We order drinks and two appetizers. Chips and guac and the seafood tower. The presentation for the chips and guac was pathetic. The guac was served inside half of an avocado shell. Not practical for sharing or even dipping. It just came off as sloppy and lazy. Back to the service - the bartender didn't even bring us plates. We made it known we were sharing the appetizers. You think she would bring out some plates - nope, we had to ask. Where is the SERVICE??? Then comes the seafood tower. You can absolutely determine that this was all frozen seafood. It was rather bland looking/tasting and icy. We made the call to leave and have dinner at Chesapeake where the food and SERVICE were fantastic. Won't be returning that's for sure.

The food has been pretty delicious here. We go here once a month. The building is a pretty labyrinth of small dining rooms with fireplaces which lend to its cozy ambiance. Also, the servers (ours was Nick) are really helpful with the menu and cuts of meats etc. A+

Saturday night and not that busy , service is awful waitress don't speak English. One waiter working two rooms. Waited one hour and one meal never came. Drink orders never came after numerous attempts. Food is decent but pricey. Won't be coming back and we're local.
