Everything you’ve read about making the best thin crust pizza is true. Tricolor salad was one of the freshest I’ve had in a while - beautiful greens that complimented a simple plain pizza. The place fills up soon after opening. They serve “Birch Beer” soda that I haven’t had since I was a kid. Great experience in local Jersey dining.
Have heard of Star Tavern having great thin crust pizza.\nThey did not disappoint on that front. Loved it!\nWish it was closer to home to have for takeout but would not hesitate to go back to dine in.\nSeating seemed a bit haphazard as there was no "hostess" at the front door. It took us asking other guests as to how to get a table. Some said go to the front by the kitchen others said just grab a seat if available. We chose the former which I believe is the proper way...
I love this place! Pizza is amazing. No frills type of vibe but I have to say our waitress Sam was so fun and amazing and really made our night. My friends and I have a monthly dinner and we can’t wait to come back!
