“Have been curious why this place got such high rating so I came here for a one-person brunch on Sat. They really deserve the high rating.

1) coffee: most coffee shops just provide same level coffee as Starbucks, but this place is serious about their coffee beans and provide way better coffee than a Nespresso machine or Starbucks. Def tier 1 of the coffee I’ve tried. Besides, their latte price starts at $4.xx. I’m surprised at the lower price they are offering (vs $6.xx latte elsewhere) with such high quality taste.

2) food and service: I did not get a chance to try their “hot” food as the kitchen was closed 2 mins before I ordered. However the service made the whole experience beyond expectations: a) the waitress apologized for not letting me know the kitchen was closed 2 mins earlier. She did not have to apologize at all as I literally walked in 2 or 3 mins before I ordered - no difference would have been made even if she reminded me, but I appreciated her attitude. b) I saw they have “brioche sandwich” on the menu, knowing kitchen has closed I asked if I can just get a slice of toast. They gave me an exception and allowed me to order a brioche toast, what’s surprising was they also toasted it so it’s way more presentable and tasteful as a food itself. BTW the toast tasted great. And their price is reasonable.

3) very dog friendly: from the second I walked in with my dog, he was welcomed by the waitress. During my whole visit in the coffee shop, no one ever questioned, judged or confronted me.
It’s actually not too common in JC.
I usually would be prepared to answer questions like: “is your dog a service animal? What’s the specially was he trained for? Pls keep your animal on the floor all the time and be prepared to leave if other customers complained”.
Their customers (mostly from near neighborhoods) were also super dog friendly, most of them petted him and smiled at him.

For the 3 reasons above, I will be coming back in the future.“

“Great hot dogs!! The mac and cheese, topped with bacon was delicious. Get your sauerkraut grilled… adds a great flavor. Super friendly place, warm and inviting people.“

“It’s small but it’s very nice and clean. It was my 1st time there and the young man at the counter took his time and suggested many options. He was very patient. This was about two weeks ago almost. Today I came back but he wasn’t there, a young lady was and she was very sweet. Great desserts and customer service. Highly recommend!“

“Chai Wala has great service and a very cute space. They have a great choice of music and the employees are very attentive. I took a family member for the first time and the person behind the counter made her a custom brown sugar milk tea with oreo that she LOVED.

“Really cool spot in the neighborhood that recently opened up. I got a flyer while walking by and decided to check it out a few days later. The customer service was very warm, and the food was great—especially the chop cheese loaded fries, which were my favorite. The catfish sliders were also a hit. The best part? The prices are really reasonable. I’ll definitely be returning.“

“Omg!!!! Literally wish we had one in Virginia! I had the fresh fruit berries and Nutella drizzle waffle. the fruit was so fresh and juicy. Waffle was the perfect blend of a crispy croissant and waffle. flaky yet ki da thick. Service was quick and I appreciates the mini atmosphere. “Stopped by today with my son. We arrived five minutes before it opened. Although, it was our first time here, the staff was incredibly helpful and patient as my son made his selection. Our order was ready within a few minutes. The quality and taste blew me away. I look forward to returning often!

Kid-friendliness: The staff is very kind. My son who is 9 years old wanted to order from the menu by himself. The experience exceeded my expectations.

Wheelchair accessibility: This establishment is wheelchair accessible.

“We staying at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights/ Meadowlands and Foodies Diner is about 1 miles from the hotel. Cute little place. My Wife and I we like th atmosphere. This is our first time here for breakfast. We order Greek omelet and Fruitie tuitty fresh toaste with 2 coffees. The fresh toast is very good but the omelet need more meat in it. Overall experience is great. If you are close by, definitely recommended. Here are a few pictures 📸“

“I have never been to the flag ship location at grand central but the stand at the Bryant Park Winter Village is EVERYTHING!! Omg it is sooooo cute! So fresh & so so tasty! I highly recommend visiting the Bryant Park location. Estephanie served us on a Friday evening and she was so lovely. The stroopwafels are so soft and delicious. Such a comforting, cinnamony, dutch biscoff taste. They offer a selection of toppings, to-go boxes and stroop wafels in the package that are perfect for gifts!!

I really love them and have been enjoying one every morning with my tea! Also the Bryant Park Winter Village is also just so cute to visit!“

I just tried this young man's food and to say the food is delicious is an understatement. I tell you I was satisfied and felt a good home feeling eating this soul food!!!
I absolutely love the service, the owner is very kind, humble and loves what he does. It speaks though the food. I ordered nacho cheese fries and teriyaki wings and it was the bomb ? ?

“Stopped in for the soft launch of the bar, which is an extension of the resturant which is now under new management. For us here in Port Morris, it’s a great retreat with an intimate setting blocks from the Randall’s Island Connector.

Parking: Always parking, great place to stop when you’re stuck in traffic off the Bruckner.“

“I went here for brunch with two others. The outdoor seating in the back was wonderful and didn't take long at ~2:20p on a Saturday. Ordering is done using a qr code on the table, and the service was quite fast. We ordered four dishes to share with the three of us and it was just sightly too much, but everything was INCREDIBLE so we finished them anyway 😅. We had the farmhouse sandwich, the bacon pesto, the brioche french toast, and the avo smash. I will note that the mojito spritz and blue lemonade are both heavily seltzer, which we didn't expect. Overall, very classic, very good. This place is definitely going into my rotation of brunch places.“

However, the coffee was slightly cold upon arrival—not an issue for me, but something to consider if you prefer your coffee hot. I also ordered the matcha cheesecake bingsu, and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend giving it a try. The place seemed understaffed, with only two employees handling everything. As a result, service was slow, and the barista appeared to be overwhelmed.“

? Highly recommend the outdoor dining environment. It is sunny and comfortable. There are not many cars on the road and it is not smoky. There are many seats and you can be seated without waiting. However, when there are many people, the meal delivery speed will be much slower.“

“The fruit salads are very delicious, they have a variety of fruits, they are large & you can share them if you want although I always eat a whole one ;)
The fruits are always fresh and the combination with the heavy cream and the grated cheese are perfect for me.
When I'm craving something sweet and delicious this is it for me.
They come with ice cream and waffle cookies. I usually like to order the ice cream separately because it melts inside the salad and is too sweet for my taste.
