La Victoria was very accommodating with a last minute change of plans and was very helpful and generous with preparation suggestions and follow up. We will certainly be ordering from them again. “It's one of the most delicious restaurants I've ever been to.

It's easier to order if you can speak Spanish but the staff speak enough English that it's okay.

The special of the day is fantastic. I recommend the fish.

Parking: Street parking is easiest but you can probably park at the city lot down the street or at the post office if you have to.“

“The Morcilla was excellent. I’d only had Irish Blood Sausage before, and this compares to the texture but the flavor is completely different. I’d highly recommend trying it out!

The Patacon had a lot of different flavors going on that all worked well together. The pineapple mayo and pink sauce really stood out well and complimented the steak. I’m not sure what type of cheese was used, but it was fantastic. Very mild but rounded out of the other flavors nicely.“

“Very first visit to the Paterson location. Came from work and searched for places to eat in the area. Very cute place. Very clean and the hostess was nice. She Let us know there were lunch specials . Food was fresh and tasty. Lots of options and all lol as amazing as the Bacon cheeseburger that I ordered and the Wonder burger ordered by my friend. There are different prices for cash and credit. I suggest you bring cash. They have a nice patio and area that can be used for gatherings. The only part I didn’t like was that they add a 15% gratuity w/o notice before spinning around the payment terminal. . I didn’t realize that and added a tip. So they got a double tip. Let me be the one to double tip. Make sure you tell your customers that you auto add tips or you may not have returning customers. We appreciate the restaurant industry and your contribution, but let the customer decide on tip. Other than that , it was a good experience.“

“Looking for a place to eat some Spanish food in the area, we gladly end up here. Service from the only waitress that night was exceptional and very professional. The place is big and I believe because it was late at night was almost empty, I.saw a lots of take out orders do. Now here you will find the typical freezers/coolers with all kinds of colombian sodas, desserts and what not. They do have a good variety in the bakery section. And the food was surprisingly good with a good flavor and presentation. Prices were reason too. Overall if we ever come back to this area we will be paying a visit to this place again“

“That place is lovely , the decorations and atmosphere are so peaceful and good for pictures. The most important , The Food is real good . The burgers are so big , so normally I don't have space for desert but beverage are really nice and delicious. I love the place“

“You would never expect some really good food from the exterior look. It not a restaurant but a grocery store that sell prep food dishes. Food is made fresh daily. Friendly service. Some minimal seating for quick eats for locals lunch time. Parking is limited in the back. For the price of a processed value meal across the fast food place, I rather get some freshly cooked home style flavorful Latin food.“

“Great hidden spot for some authentic Colombian food. They have three (3) different dishes of the typical Colombian plate: Bandeja Paisa. Also, it is a BYOB. There is parking onsite. I have not had a bad time here. Everything is delicious and the service is great. Highly recommended.“

“The staff at this location were very warm and welcoming. The food came out really fast. Their portions are good too. I would say a plate here is shareable between two people. I ordered the Asadito with two sides of rice and it was just enough for my cousin and I. Their drinks are good, but not strong.“

“Quaint, cozy place, "welcome home/family vibe." The lady taking care of the place (I think she's the owner) is amazing! She took such good care of us and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time there. The food was very good and the portions are huge, definitely worth it. If you like small places with good food, you gotta stop by. Street parking only but there's enough parking and there's a city parking lot nearby.“

We went on a February weekday (Wednesday Lunch time) and the place was clean, well decorated for Valentine's. There was a good crowd and I can see that the staff were all busy doing something work related. Our waiter was attentive and although his English was limited , he still made an attempt. The food was good- Bandeja de Paisa never disappoints. I like how this dish is consistent whether I eat it at their Hackensack location or Englewood location. For the first time I tried their calamari. It was good and I like the sweet chili sauce (an homage to my Asian routes haha). Overall a good place to eat!“

Friendly and very patient with my friend who doesn't speak Spanish. Great atmosphere and great service. I will definitely come back here when I am in town again.“

“Former Mi Tierrita restaurant at 252 Main St in Hackensack is the new best place in town to have some great food and quality service. Lorena was very nice and the food was amaizing .not sure about the name of the new restaurant taking place there but can't wait to give a possitive reveiw to this new business.“

“Delicious Colombian food anytime of day!! Pan de bonos are a must when visiting. We’ve gone so many time under the new management and the service and taste never disappoint. They have an extensive menu and breakfast is served all day. On Monday we had the soup of the day which was lentil soup and for my two sides I got white rice and maduros. My husband had the mini bandeja paisa with ground beef and my son had the rice with shrimp. So tasty and it was enough for lunch and dinner!! The bakery section offers a selection of delights. We took home buñuelos, empanadas and a loaf of bread. Wish there was a Noches like this one closer to my house.“

“Saw steak on the menu. When I asked for that order, they told me they did not have that steak but instead they had skirt steak. I went for it and did not regret. It was hands down one of the best skirt sticks I have ever had. I don't know if this is always or if I was lucky. It was that good. It was thicker than I usually get out of the places as well as more perfectly cooked and at the perfect temperature. Also the picture is incorrect. The current picture is of their old location. They have moved up the block to bigger location. This location also has parking and an outdoor area. I will be going back to have another of the same or possibly to sample the menu a bit.“

“I go to the place frequently, it is good, good food and excellent service. I can't give it 5 stars for two fundamental reasons, the first is a suggestion, don't order a tray paisa because it doesn't have arepa or avocado, avocado is fine, but without arepa it's unforgivable and it's not that it's a spectacular dish, better try others things that are very good. The second is that the parking lot is a nightmare, I would like to go more often but unfortunately when we go and there is nowhere to park we have to leave, we don't live nearby so if you can it is better to walk, for us it is impossible, we have lost the trip there just because we can't park. I recommend the place with complete confidence.“
