Based on the reviews, Sal's Deli & Pizza is a fantastic new local spot with a huge menu offering something for everyone. The pizza is top-notch, with a thin crust that is out of this world delicious when fresh out of the oven. Favorites include the Grandma’s pie with crumbled sausage, the Margherita pizza, and a pepperoni square slice with hot honey. The sandwiches on fresh semolina bread are amazing, with popular choices like the Bronx Bomber, Sal’s Masterpiece, Sal's Famous 36 Sandwich, Sal's Famous Italian Sandwich, and the NY Jets sandwich. The plain slice is crisp with well-balanced flavors, while the grandma slice is light and airy with an excellent cheese-to-sauce ratio and a perfectly charred crust. The overall quality is impressive. Customers give it two thumbs up and say whatever you try, you won’t be disappointed. They also offer a $10 large plain pie special.
