Sal's thin crust pizza was out of this world delicious when I got it fresh out of the oven. I tried their chef salad and the cold cuts they use are very good. I really need to try their tuna before I make my final decision. I saw they had a $10 large plain pie special which is great. So far, I'm giving them a thumbs up. If they decorate the dining room, I bet it will be cute.
First time ordering from here and while overall while would have been a tasty pie unfortunately it was quite burnt. I am honestly surprised they still sent it out this way. We will give it one more try before we write it off as a no go.
I have mixed feelings about this spot. I went twice last weekend because the sandwiches were actually very good!! 3 chicken cutlets and the bread was fresh and delicious, I wanted to go back to try the pizza. The plain pie we ordered was below average. The dough was stiff and chewy, too much crust, there was no flavor, and it was cold… I don’t know if I just got a bad pie, maybe their special pies are better? Maybe they need a new pizza guy or a better sauce… hard to say....
