As soon as you walk in the aroma of good home-cooked food slaps you in the face and your mouth will begin to water as mines did. The food was very fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Pernil, yellow rice, red beans ,red onions and avocado. I also ordered the chicken empanadas. The staff was extremely accommodating friendly and went above and beyond. Wonderful and delicious home kitchen Puerto Rican dishes. I have no idea why this place doesn't have a line out the door all day everyday...probably because of its humble unassuming appearance.

Right now with the price gouging at restaurants and inflation, it's Exhausting going out to eat when you look at the bill.

It felt so good to sit down and have a plate if delicious homecooked food with a bottle of soda for $9.75!

Dinner companion Eileen orders the shrimp in green sauce every time and is in heaven.
