It has been decades since I have eaten a bagel that took me back to my days in Greenwich Village to the Potbelly Bagel Cafe on Christopher St. NYC. It wasn’t just the bagels and cream cheese spread, it was also the quick friendly service. “The bagels aren't the same, but they're still good bagels. Place is clean. It's a bagel place. If you place a big order at a busy time, check your order. That's standard for any food establishment. Their bagels are good, I've never had bad service, nor do I expect a gala in a bagel shop. I see people with some reviews that make it abundantly clear they've never worked in food service, and perhaps should be less judgemental, and take time to be a more conscientious consumer.“
