I stopped into The Stone Bean with my husband and daughter for some coffee. My daughter accidentally lost a ring in the trash and the owner came to our table and offered to dig through the trash to look for it. After she looked through, she looked through a second time with us present to show my daughter it wasn't there. My husband and I were so thankful and understanding but my 4 year old was still upset. The owner gave her a cake pop and stickers to make her feel better....
The Stone Bean is such a refreshing place to spend some time, it's cozy and homey and feels kind of like a coffee shop from your college days. Good music too, and the outdoor seating right by the mill is such a treat! They. have a nice variety of drinks, food, and pastries, with some gluten-free and vegan choices as well.
I had a delicious breakfast panini, and my brown sugar iced latte was great! The service was fast, and they were friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions about the menu. The shop was nice and cool on a hot spring day. It is a cozy place to sit and work, the wifi worked great for me. I loved how from the seating you can look out and the see the bridge and mill. It was a nice morning at the Stone Bean!
