I was staying in the Paramus area this past week and decided to try the Bergen Diner in Closter for the first time—and I’m so glad I did! I enjoyed dinner one evening and returned the next morning for breakfast because my first experience was so positive. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making both visits enjoyable. It’s clear they take pride in providing excellent service and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Food was pretty solid, typical diner food, not exceptional quality. Building was clean and well lit, but service wasn’t great and also snuck in a lot of charges using “implications”

I had dinner here tonight as well, people just want to hate and spread their bad day onto others. We had a great experience, the waitress was very polite, respectful and professional. We arrived just as several tables were seated. We had the steak frites and penne vodka. The steak was cooked medium perfectly and the fries were fresh and crispy. My husband loved the sauce and the pasta was al dente. The chocolate mousse was absolutely amazing.
