The road approaching the lookout and the crossing point of the Long Path trail appears as the meeting point of Mark and Cobel in Severance S2E9

I always try to stop in here when cycling up 9W - I like the old log cabin vibe.
Visitors should be aware that, unlike for other restaurants, the posted closing times are when everyone, visitors and staff alike, need to leave the building - kitchen closes 45 mins, and bathrooms 15 mins prior to allow for cleaning.

Nice place to visit, you can walk around free, sit on the overlook
get a snack or two or just open your car windows or sit at the tables. Very clean area, love to visit there!

This place is catering for the people going for hiking at the State Line Lookout located alongside the Hudson River.
They carry very simple menu such as hamburgers, sandwiches, pastries, coffees and chips, etc. The food is not the best quality, but essential for the hikers. They would do more business if they add more menu like cafe style.

Prices were dirt cheap, and great value. Got the bacon egg and cheese- was not the most loaded sandwich, but was well worth the $3.75. Service was friendly and quick, and the building was very cool.

Great place to stop and spend a few hours. The view is amazing, there are plenty of hiking trails and then there is the cafe. I'm not sure how or why people give it low ratings. The food is cheap, and the atmosphere is great. You are not coming here for a Michelin star dinner here.

Kid-friendliness: There is a changing table in the restroom. Older kids will enjoy the view. If they like hiking or climbing, you will find a trail for them.

Absolutely Horrible Management. I attended a lovely Car Show with over 90+ cars and attendees. Went into the cafe to find they had a limited menu to Hot Dogs and Chicken Fingers. The Cafe knew for months about the show taking place and were unprepared for the amount of people. This isn't the first time the car show has been there and food was absent from the cafe. It's highly poor management.Multiple people are the car show were extremely disappointed with how the cafe handled themselves. One attendee went to order an egg sandwich at 11:00AM to be told "we aren't making those at this time anymore because it's too much work".I have no involvement of the planning of the car show but I will also be sharing this with the director of the club because of how unhappy attendees were with the service, and management of the cafe. Like how can you be limited to 2 menu items?
