“Built in 1937 and originally known as “Lookout Inn, my partner and I decided to stop at the State Line Lookout Cafe after a nice hike for a bite. This casual establishment is a throwback to yesteryear inside a nice stone cabin with fireplaces to warm up during cold weather and the only restaurant/cafe around in the nearby area.
I was greeted by the young staff. Their simple menu is a little diverse, from breakfast sandwiches, various burgers, and hot dogs to fries, but nothing too fancy.
We decided on a cheeseburger, a tuna fish salad sandwich, large fries to share, and drinks for takeout.
Service was friendly and quick. Prices are quite reasonable, and the food was hot, freshly prepared, and tasty.
We can recommend it.“

“I have to admit, I cheated on you guys and wondered off to Rudy’s… I’m sorry but their sauce tastes like they just dumped it out of a store brand jar …biggest regret EVER!! I’m here at Carmine And Rays for the Margherita pies any and every time! The sauce is the most authentic flavorful taste and closest to my Italian grandmas I can get in the area. Welcoming staff and great food, highly recommended 🙌🏽“
“I visited this spot for the first time yesterday evening. We had a variety of Korean foods (radish kimchi, japchae, dried pollack, spring rolls) and all of them were very good. It was a total lifesaver as both my wife and I are new parents, which makes cooking difficult. I plan on coming here again and would not hesitate to recommend the store.“

“If you don't eat at this restaurant regularly you should. Each time I come I try something different and each time it's amazing and so different. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful in a cozy way. Service is exceptional. This is a well run establishment which doesn't cut corners. You can tell there is a high level of pride and execution here.“

“Super yummy! My friend and I had Shrimp & Pork Dumplings, Spicy Jerk Beef Pho, Chicken Fried Rice & Chicken Pad Thai! Everything was soooo good. The Spicy Jerk Pho had the perfect amount of spice where I was not overwhelmed but I definitely felt the spice 🥵😍“

Awesome logo based on the Wallyworld Theme park logo from the first Vacation movie in the 1980s.
Price is a bit on the expensive side. Should be $7.50 for 6 bagels which is the price for Teaneck Hot Bagels. Wally's charges $9.
As far as the flavor of the cinnamon raisin and the plain bagels here at Wally's, they were good and fresh. Well above average and almost as good as Cresskill Hot Bagels.
Reducing the price for 6 bagels will make me return a lot more often. Keeping the price at $9 or higher will easily push me to Teaneck Hot Bagels.
At least it is $1 cheaper here than Cresskill for the half dozen.“
