Antojitos Guerrero Mix was decent overall. The food was nice — nothing mind-blowing, but it hit the spot. Service was good, not super fast but not too slow either. Prices were fair for what you get. It’s not a place I’d go out of my way for, but if you’re nearby and craving some Mexican comfort food, it’s worth a stop.”

“Family and I had dinner here tonight. Preface: I’m a chef, and always looking to give a good tip but also constantly scanning and processing everything going on during dinner. To start, we’re a bit of a challenge with twin 3 year olds and a 6 month old, had just left the beach after a full day of going wild and everyone was tired. Server, whose name I am unhappy with myself for letting slip my mind, was incredible. She was timely, not bothering us but checking in just enough, talking to the kids and interacting with them when they spoke to her, great eye contact, smile never left her face, she was knowledgeable and super helpful. Manager was present at the front, very warm and welcoming, seated us and had some interaction with our son at the end of the night (everyone else went to the car), great personality, place was just awesome. Food was great diner classics, turned up a notch. Everything was hot, fresh, exactly as it should be with flavor and consistency. Meatloaf was perfectly seared and not soggy, mashed potatoes were beautiful, not wet or messy but not dry either. Chicken parm, chicken croquettes and apps all exceeded expectations. I told the server we were getting the croquettes for the kids because they seemed extra hungry, she took the initiative to have them split onto separate plates with easily a full serving of mashed potatoes and gravy each. We honestly have driven by here 50 times or more heading to the shore every spring and summer, always meant to look them up or stop and never got around to it, and now kicking myself for not doing it sooner. We can not wait to go back.”

The menu has everything you could want, but they keep things interesting with there specials. If you haven’t already tried Verna’s Flight Line, you owe it to your self to try. It’s truly unique and a great place to share with family and friends.”

She got the #lightningsalad containing #arugula #grilledchicken #craisins #walnuts and #gorgonzola with #balsamicvinegrette and they did not skimp on the chicken. I got the #doubleporkburger featuring both a #porkpatty and #alpastor that was topped with #cheddarcheese #caramelizedonions and #chipotlesauce The double dose of pork was enjoyable, with the latter meat being especially tender. The sauce added some spice and heat, but the #cheese helped smooth it out and bring balance. It came with a generous portion of #fries We ended with the meal with #limoncellocake The cake was pleasantly dense. The middle layer was creamy and appropriately tart, while the icing on top was a bit sweet and #whitechocolate shavings added nicely to the texture. A dollop of #whippedcream and a drizzle of #caramelsauce complimented the star of the dish and added very nicely to the presentation. This restaurant is inside #newjerseymotorsportspark and I'm glad it's not far from me. We like it here. “Affordable platters their burgers are great but they charge for almost every topping. Also their pancakes taste kind of off. Also compared to the first time I ordered I've been getting way less fries or onion rings even though you have to pay extra for onion rings.”

“This was a spur of the moment dinner on our way home from the shore. It was the best experience. The staff was so friendly and the owner was so sweet and kind. Not to mention the pizza was the best pizza I have ever had. And the owner provided my mom and I a complimentary bowl of ice cream when we finished the pizza. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back! It’s going to be a tradition on our way home from the shore now!”

“Good sandwich shop, unless you are vegetarian. Steer clear of the veggie sandwich: It's basically a sub with just the fixings (lettuce, tomato, onions, sweet/hot peppers) and no filling. If you're expecting some roasted vegetables, or something similar, you're out of luck.”
