Historic area, museum, local beer and waterfront location. Extremely casual and interesting. Raw oysters on a Friday once a month. A famous ship usually docked there that you can see and it does scheduled rides. Really nice people work there.
Like most, I'd seen the signs along Delsea Drive and the "back way" into OC and was intrigued. Innumerable trips down the shore, being born & raised in Philly, and a transplanted resident of South Jersey since 1970, I was totally unfamiliar with Port Norris. The visit was informative (from an historical perspective) but what I was most looking-forward-to was some tasty oysters. It was a Thursday in August and we were two of SIX people who were there! They weren't serving raw oysters...read full review
