The Bayshore Center at Bivalve is the perfect place to spend a day. I learned so many new and interesting things from visiting the center, meeting new people, and enjoying a sail on the AJ Meerwald tall ship schooner, which was built on the Maurice River and used for oystering on the Bay back in the day. Delicious food on site as well. Lots of neat spots and roads nearby!
What a great experience we had at the Bayshore Center!!! Museum staff member was friendly and helpful. We attended the Sip and Sails, 2.5 hour sail, beer from the Glasstown Brewery, cheese plate, education about the history of the A J Meerwald, and the opportunity to assist in raising her sails! wonderful experience, we felt totally safe and comfortable. we especially enjoyed the opportunity to have a hands on experience.we will be back!
