What a nice and interesting way to spend an afternoon. The crew are all friendly, knowledgeable and seem to really enjoy what they are doing. Run by a non-profit which has done a great job of preserving this piece of local history. Thank you Crew!
We got there early, the parking was free and we walked around the shops in the terminal till it was time to sail. The ride was wonderful. We were able to help pull the sail up (if you wanted) the crew was great, the other people on the ride were very nice and we were able to bring our drinks along. This was my second time on the Meetesld but it will not be my last.
We had a great sail on the ship! The crew was awesome and they shared their knowledge about the history of the ship, the industry and their own personal experiences of living on and sailing the ship! Highly recommended!
