Went tonight for the first time being a first generation Irish American the Shepard pie was awesome but from the second we walked in the door evie was inviting welcoming and personable. Would come back to see her any night of the week and can’t wait to try more of there menu
We took a chance and drove down to Corbin City to see whatever happened to the Buck Tavern. Seems it has turned into Flanagan's Pub & Grille with wonderful new owners and delicious food. We really enjoyed the roast pork sandwich and the spumoni was terrific, too. We finished our meal with Irish Coffee and managed to leave just as the snow started falling. Very much worth the short trip down Rt. 50 and we plan to visit often with so many more menu items we want to try.
Flanagans is the perfect example of a “public house”, the owners are beyond warm and welcoming and treat their regular customers like their children. I’ve witnessed on multiple occasions, customers coming in for the first time and evie greets them with high energy and a smile, quick to introduce them to anyone around. The food is always fresh and well made, I’ve never had anything on the menu I haven’t loved. They’re adamant about where their products come from and...
