This morning’s experience at Starbucks was completely unacceptable.

I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and explicitly asked that it not be warmed. The barista rang it up as “warmed” on the screen, and I immediately corrected her. She acknowledged the correction.

When I received my order at the window, I checked the bag while waiting for my drink. The cookie was clearly warm. The wrapper was marked “warmed,” and when I touched the cookie, the chocolate chip melted onto my finger.

I calmly handed it back and said the cookie was warm and that I had asked for it not to be. I was told, “It’s not warm. We didn’t warm it.” I explained again that it was warm and pointed out the melted chocolate.

At that point, I was told the cookie was warm because it had been placed in a bag with hot food. That explanation is unacceptable. If a customer asks for an item not to be warm, it should not be placed in a bag where it will become warm anyway.

Instead of fixing the mistake, I was told, “Next time just ask for it in plastic,” which made no sense and completely avoided the issue. The problem wasn’t the bag. The problem was that my request was ignored.

From there, the situation escalated unnecessarily. The staff began raising their voices, yelling, and arguing with me, turning a simple correction into a hostile interaction.

This wasn’t about a cookie. It was about:
• Ignoring a clear request
• Denying an obvious issue
• Offering excuses instead of solutions
• And yelling at a customer rather than handling the situation professionally

Starbucks sets expectations for quality service, but this location failed on every level. I left frustrated, disrespected, and shocked by how poorly this was handled.

The stupid rules about not being able to bring your own coffee if you don't have a car. What nonsense is this? I left my car charging and decided to buy coffee for the road, but they wouldn't sell it to me. What if I'm cold and need a hot coffee? Coffee at Starbucks is like a ritual for me, and I'm very upset. The clerk refused to give her name.

So there was nothing wrong with the coffee- but the process with a mobile order is dumb. They shouldn’t accept mobile orders at this Starbucks since there’s no way to NOT wait in a 20 min Starbucks line to pick it up. Will not be back for this reason.

I go to many Starbucks every week. This one makes my Chia Tea Latte the best !!!! I love this starbucks ! I live an hour away and i am so happy when i am in this area and get to get my Tea here

Don’t ever go to this location. The staff here are extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I literally saw them ignoring customers and talking about personal things in front of everyone. Even the store manager is worse—especially for someone working the morning shift. Honestly, this location shouldn’t even be in business.

I love this location but literally 12 out of 12 times they forget the sriracha sauce! Sometimes I catch it and ask but it’s frustrating I wish they would just remember to put it in the bag. Other than that great location!
