Finally got up here after seeing the course had been revised and my buddy and I were very happy we made the drive.
Fun and challenging plus the course was maintained pretty well.
Will definitely be back a couple times this year!
I'd go for drinks here. Just some things I saw that stuck out a bit: My family and I got dinner here and ordered pretty basic pub style food. The texas sandwiches were pretty good and it seemed like the cheese steaks were pretty good too, although a bit dry 🤷♂️. The tables were a little dirty and there was a mess of chunks of tomatoes and lettuce on the floor where we had to sit, and we saw the bartender (who was very nice) clean the tables and bar with plain water....
When a local landmark switches hands, it can be unsettling. It risks a change of culture, quality and community. Luckily, the new owners have brought new life, some much needed improvements and a promising vision for the future!
It’s a cozy gem in an old barn with great views, reasonable prices, and consistent quality of food. Don’t ask me about the course, I don’t play golf! From what I can see they are improving that as well.
