“so we had just drove 24 hours to get to town for vacation. we had been dreaming about Italian subs, pizza, and cheese steaks. we were absolutely exhausted. so we seen boomers on our way in so decided to place a delivery order. we have never been there before. we were terribly disappointed with all the food ordered. we spent over 100 dollars on dinner to get food that was terrible. there was no mayo or oil on the Italian subs and there was hardly any meat. It was like eating a salad on a sub. cheese steaks and pizza were just as bad. we were so sad! We would have taken food back but were so tired from driving 24 plus hours. I wish I could have given a great review but had to be honest! Then the owner got upset because we were honest and was calling us liars. Well sir, I am sure you do think your food is great and maybe any other time it is but it was not that night and I do NOT lie!!!!! You sir could have been much nicer responding to our review by saying your sorry we had a bad experience and try to make it right like any other owner would do. But you decided to be rude instead!”

“Had the pleasure of coming here with a good friend today. I am a cappuccino snob, this was one of the best I’ve had stateside in a LONG time. The Ricotta jam toast was the perfect combination of sweet (blueberries were just perfect) and creamy. Adorable location with a beautiful view that just cant be beat. Kind staff, quick service too. “I have used Lucky Bones’s Eric three times in the last five years for catering parties at my home/in my yard. Twice I also booked waitresses with my party. The food is always delicious, the service reliable. We ran out of chicken tenders for the kids once and they brought over a new batch! Everything is set up as ordered and arrives on time. You can’t go wrong with them for your party. My father’s small after-funeral reception was in their back room and my husband and I eat at the restaurant at least once a month. Highly recommend.”

“This place is the real deal. The food was fantastic, the decor/environment was perfect for the beach. Our family cannot wait to return next year! I wish it was in my town! The staff was outstanding. The table we sat at was a shadow box type,it had shells and things for the kids (and us adults) to look at during our very short wait for food. 10/10.”

“We dined on Friday, 10.31.25 supporting the Cape May Restaurant Weekend. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Red Snapper Alla Plancha that was impeccably simmered in a tomato-saffron cream sauce along with the delectable additions of mussels, rock shrimp, creamer potatoes and confit fennel. I had the wonderful opportunity to sample the Grilled Duroc Pork Chop with aged gouda potato purée, ginger glazed vegetables, sherry wine cream sauce and seasonal mostarda that was done to absolute perfection. I haven't cleaned my plate like that for years! My wife echoed that it was one of the top three dinners that we have ever had as a couple....Our service was second to none from the expediters, bussers and our very warm and personable server, Anna, who just added to the overall dining experience. A five star event for sure!”

“I had a great experience at The Lobster House. The place was pretty busy when I went, but it had a nice atmosphere and was worth the visit. I ordered the crab cakes with fries and coleslaw, and everything was really good and fresh. The bread they brought to the table was amazing too!

I also had a drink that I really enjoyed. The service was good, and I liked the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. There are also some interesting displays and things to see around the property.

If you’re in the Cape May area and looking for good seafood, I definitely recommend checking out The Lobster House. I would come back again!”

“At here a few days ago. Service was great. I got the footlong chili cheese dog. It was okay. $10 feels crazy, even for boardwalk prices for what I got. Mostly chili that felt like it didn’t have any meat in it and barely any cheese. I paid extra for onions and it didn’t feel like many were put on. My hot dog was kinda dried out, but maybe it was because I got it around 10pm.

It wasn’t terrible, but I don’t think I’d get a hotdog here again.”
